Good morning, Oddies! Alexis here with a tutorial on making some realistic metal embellishments! I’m getting a little steampunk with the new Gears
EEP! I am totally in lurve with this week’s release!! Singer Kaylee is so punk rock and the Love cut files and Sweet Word sentiments made a perfect Mother’s Day card. (At least my mother thought so) First, behold Singer Kaylee in all of her Karaoke Badassery. I adore her torn jeans and fun 80’s layering and I’m fairly certain she’s singing something Pat Benatar. The sentiment from Music Mae matched up perfectly and I think it made an adorable card for just about any occasion.
Next, I’m so thrilled that Kristi is adding more awesome digi sentiments to her growing list of products. I paired the Love Cut Files and Sweet Word Sentiments on a second card that I made for Mother’s Day. There are actually a few files in the cut file set and I used one of the awesome heart background files to create a peek-through window. I glued some of the hearts back in place in reverse so that the pattern on the back of the paper added a bit of contrast. I paired that with the ‘Hey There Gorgeous‘ sentiment from the Sweet Words pack and cut that from turquoise paper (it’s super easy to turn the sentiments into cut files as well!!!) and the very pretty Flower digi stamp.
And if you think the releases this month have been super exciting, wait until you see what’s coming in JUNE!!! WEEEEEE *Spins* I hope to see your creations in our Facebook group soon and don’t forget to add your projects to our Linky Party over on the Some Odd Girl Blog
